E.Y. Snowden, Chairman



E.Y. Snowden is a leader in the wireless communications industry, having managed both carrier and vendor organizations, as well as serving on the Board and Executive Committee of CTIA – The Wireless Association for the past three years. E.Y. served as President and CEO of Boston Communications Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:BCGI) from 1998 to 2006, and as Chairman of its board from 2006 until March, 2007. E.Y. led the transformation of BCGI from entrepreneurial innovator into a proven, carrier-grade provider of mission critical applications to the largest wireless operators in the world, including billing, content filtering, network and payment services. While overseeing a global enterprise of over 500 employees, including significant operations in India and Israel, Snowden helped to secure and deliver on nationwide real-time billing relationships with four of the largest carriers in America.
 
Prior to joining bcgi, E.Y. served as President and Chief Operating Officer of American Personal Communications, L.P. (APC-Sprint Spectrum), where he oversaw the launch of the nation's first Personal Communications Services (PCS) network. At APC, E.Y. led the development of a new customer proposition for wireless communications that contributed to APC winning the J.D. Power & Associates' Customer Satisfaction Award in only its second year of service. This startup, which E.Y. helped to build to 800 employees, was also honored by Fortune Magazine as one of the "25 very cool companies to work for." Prior to APC-Sprint Spectrum, Snowden was Area Vice President of Pacific Bell, Inc., where he developed the business plan for the company's entry into the PCS market through the creation of Pacific Bell Mobile Services. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer for Universal Optical Company, a manufacturer and marketer of designer eyewear, and he began his career as a Corporate Strategy Consultant and Manager with the Boston Consulting Group.
 
E.Y. is a Director and Executive Chairman of the Board of Tatara Systems, Inc., and a Director and Chairman of the Board for the Massachusetts Network Communications Council. Snowden served on the Executive Committee and as a Director of the Board of CTIA-The Wireless Association and on the board of The Wireless Foundation from 2005 until 2007. E.Y. holds a bachelor's degree in mathematical sciences from Stanford University and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
