Mobile Services Development Program

Leveraging the Mobile Services Convergence Platform, Tatara is working with many of the world’s most innovative service providers on the definition, development and deployment of converged mobile offerings that extends service beyond traditional connectivity.  To promote advanced services prototyping, solution packaging and application development, Tatara works in close cooperation with other leading solutions providers.

Mobile Application Development – The Tatara platform serves as a critical inter-working function across heterogeneous networks and carrier infrastructure enabling a range of new services from other content and application providers.  Partnering application, content and 3G infrastructure providers can work closely with Tatara on the definition, development, testing and demonstration of a range of new mobile content, messaging, LBS, gaming and IMS based services.

Roaming Infrastructure Packaging – When adding Wi-Fi as an integral component to their 3G or wired offerings, service providers looking to roam with hotspot partners must select from an array of heterogeneous public Wi-Fi infrastructure to assemble a meaningful footprint for their subscribers.  Supporting this need, Tatara works with a range of public hotspot operators to pre-integrate and enable service providers to package footprint from desired geographical serving areas, venues and roaming partners.

Mobile Passport – Tatara's Mobile Passport program enables advanced services to a participating outreach community that includes a cross section of service providers, analysts, enterprises and other key early adopters.  Participating partners work closely with Tatara to package new converged mobile applications and services accessible by the outreach community via 2.5G, 3G and WLAN (home, enterprise and public hotspots) using an array of mobile terminal devices.  This program enables valuable real-world testing and feedback from a very knowledgeable installed base of users.
