Eric Bomarsi

Leading Tatara’s world-class engineering team, Eric has more than 18 years experience developing carrier grade communications systems and networking software. As Vice President of Engineering, he is responsible for all aspects of product development and quality assurance.
 
Prior to Tatara, Eric was a lead developer and manager of security software at Xedia which was acquired by Lucent. He also consulted on security and virtual routing at Nauticus Networks which was acquired by Sun Microsystems. Previously, Eric held lead software engineer and section manager positions focused on high speed LAN switching systems at both Chipcom and 3Com. He started his career at Digital Equipment Corporation in the Networks and Communications Division.
 
Eric holds a B.S. degree with high honors in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.
